Studio Footprints is Thomas Marek’s tap dance school in Hamburg. It’s a friendly, creative place to learn tap, whether you’re a complete beginner or a working professional.
Thomas Marek has been a professional tap dancer and choreographer for more than 30 years. His work brings together traditional and modern tap with contemporary music and theater, and that spirit runs through the studio: serious about the art form, warm in the way it’s taught.
Cordula Decker, Berit Thomsen, Luke Dowling, and Thomas Marek make up the teaching team. They share a love of movement and a deep feel for the rhythms of jazz and tap, and they pass it on with a lot of joy.

New beginners’ class
On Wednesday, November 4, we’re starting a new tap class for absolute beginners. Cordula Decker teaches it every Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:45 pm.
Flat street shoes with leather soles are perfect to start with. Your first class is free.
